Homophones

Homophones are words with same pronunciation/same sound, but have different spelling and different meanings. 
Example:
1. peace - piece
Meaning
peace - calm
Piece - a part of whole

Meaning
cent - a small unit of money
Scent - a pleasant smell

Meaning
see - to look at
sea - a large water body of saline water

Steal - to take away something that belongs to other person without their permission

Meaning
aloud - to speak in a voice that can be clearly heard
allowed - to give permission for someone to do something

Meaning
Principal - the head of school/college etc. 
Principle - a rule or code of conduct

Meaning
sum - the result/answer we get on adding two or more numbers
some - a certain amount of something

great - large in amount, size, degree etc. 
grate - to break into small pieces by rubbing against rough object

15. chilli - chilly
Meaning
chilli - a green/red coloured spicy vegetable
chilly - unpleasantly cold weather
